2009 Registrations Open !

Melbourne Reds would like to invite interested players to register for their 2009 Academy programs. The following age groups will be catered for.

Futsal Joeys - 6 - 8yr old beginners.

U9 - U13 Boys - Progressive training program, age specific groups.

U9 - U13 Girls - Progressive training program, age specific groups.

MRFC Junior League for 2009

Melbourne Reds would like to invite interested players and teams to register for the 2009 Junior League. We will be running a weekly competition for the following age groups.

U10 Boys - Players born in 1998 or later.

U12 Boys - Players born in 1996 or later.

U13 Girls - Players born in 1995 or later.

To register your interest please click on the below email link and send us you name and contact details. We will then contact you with more information. The league is planned to commence in early March.

Register your team early as places are expected to fill quickly !

MRFC Junior League Registrations

MRFC Players Selected for VIC Squad

Congratulations to the following Melbourne Reds players on being selected to represent Victoria in the National Futsal Championships to be held in Canberra on January 6th - 10th 2009.

Bryson Ng, Stefan Cardamone (GK), Lucas Spinella (GK), Reis Aygun, Jesse Mills-Warthold, Anthony Duzel and Alexander Hrkalovic (Emergency).

We wish the boys well in their preparation for the competition and we will keep an eye on their progress. The boys will be competing in the U11 age group. You can keep an eye on the results via the following link.

Reds Players Feature in SBS Video

Mariana Rudan travelled to Victoria to uncover the growing sport of Futsal, the indoor counterpart of the beautiful game, a pivotal component in the development of ball skill at an early age.

Melbourne Reds players featured strongly in the video and members of our State Championship U11 Rep Team, Charlie Bircham, Aaron Diplacido, Stefan Cardamone, Reis Aygun, Jesse Mills-Warthold, Dylan Vlahopoulos and Bryson Ng were all shown in the segment.

Bryson was also interviewed during the segment. We wish all remaining state team participants the best of luck with their final stages of selection.
